Factors to consider when buying a digital camera.
1. Size & weight: Will you carrying it around? In your bag or pocket?
2. Shutter speed: Many digital cameras takes ages between pressing the butten & actually taking the photos. So if you want to catch action shots, check this out 1st.
3. Memory: You get about 8-15 photos in an 8mb memory card. You can buy cheap upgrades here.
4. Battery life: The cheaper cameras have short battery life. You can upgrade the battery or get a battery recharger (try Maplins or BatteryPlus). Buy MiMH type pref > 2000mah.
5. Add it to your contents insurance.
